Rhode Island’s largest nonprofit behavioral health care provider
Emergency Services and Crisis Stabilization
Behavioral health crisis management services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and accessible either through the 988 crisis hotline or directly to Gateway by calling its regional emergency services number.
Clinicians triage calls and follow-up with urgent care/walk-in services, mobile crisis dispatch to home and community environments, and hospital emergency departments assessments. Services include screening, evaluation, safety planning, referral and stabilization supports until a warm handoff can be made to an appropriate service provider.
