Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children
Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 12:00 to 1:00p.m.
Join the Community Health Institute for this free, virtual (via Zoom) presentation to learn how commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) is defined and gain an understanding of the forms it can take, including survival sex, child sexual abuse materials, online exploitation, and gang-based trafficking. Examine common myths and misconceptions about CSEC and contrast them with factual information to better understand the realities of exploitation and how it manifests within your community. Finally, learn to recognize and identify indicators of CSEC by reviewing case examples and red flags, with particular attention to high-risk and marginalized populations.
