Parenting Matters: A Mindful Check-In
Thursday, November 14, 2024 at 6:00p.m. - 7:30p.m.
Join Bradley Hospital and Brown University Health Community Health Institute for this free, virtual, interactive training designed to provide individuals the opportunity to understand how their thoughts and feelings impact their response to challenging situations. Whether it is the stress of deadlines or an upset individual, simply understanding how one is feeling will allow professionals to respond to challenges more effectively. Participants will gain skills to improve self-care and prevent burnout.
The 60 minute workshop will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Recognize one’s emotional triggers.
- Appraise how thoughts impact responses to challenging behavior.
- Identify three proactive strategies to prevent burnout.
Speaker
This workshop will be presented by Alicia Ead, LICSW.
