Safe Sitter

The Brown University Health Community Health Institute is hosting a Safe Sitter training session from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2024.
The Safe Sitter curriculum is designed exclusively for young teens in grades six through eight, ages 11 to 14 years.
The course covers the following skills:
- Safety
- Child care
- CPR
- First aid
- Choking rescue
- Life and business
The Community Health Institute is nationally recognized as a Gold-level provider. Safe Sitter courses are instructor-led and interactive, with hands-on demonstrations and skills practice using soft-bodied dolls and medical manikins.
Registration
The registration fee is $50. Preregistration is required.
