Renee Desrosiers, PA-C, MHP, is a physician assistant specializing in obstetrics and gynecology at Newport Women’s Health. With more than 20 years of experience in women’s health, Desrosiers provides comprehensive, patient-centered care with a focus on preventive health, reproductive care, and the management of gynecologic conditions across the lifespan.

Her clinical interests include contraception and pre-conception management, hormonal care, and the treatment of both common and complex gynecologic conditions. She is also experienced in supporting patients through hormonal changes and promoting overall wellness and healthy aging.

Desrosiers earned her master of health professions and physician assistant certificate from Northeastern University. She completed her undergraduate studies at Boston College, where she received a bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

In addition to clinical work, Desrosiers has been actively involved in medical education as a clinical instructor and preceptor for physician assistant and nurse practitioner students. She has also participated in numerous clinical research studies focused on women’s health, including cervical cancer screening, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and menopausal symptoms.
