The Playbook for De-Escalating Youth

Join Bradley Hospital  and Brown University Health Community Health Institute on Thursday, November 20 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for their fall Parenting Matters workshop, "The Playbook for De-Escalating Youth." This 90-minute workshop will be virtual, via Zoom, and will be followed by a question-and-answer session.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Define de-escalation
  • Identify four steps to deliver rapport.
  • Recognize signs and signals of possible escalating behavior.
  • Recall de-escalation steps, A to D.

This workshop will be presented by Susan Pacheco, LCSW and Tiffany Moroch, LMHC.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required.

Approval has been sought to award continuing education units (CEUs) for social workers, licensed mental health counselors, and early childhood professionals. For those seeking credit, there will be a $10 fee.
