Brown University Health is proud to announce Alyssa Springett, Occupational Therapist at Saint Anne's Hospital, as the recipient of its 2025 CARE Person of the Year Award.

The CARE Person of the Year is Brown Health’s highest honor recognizing exceptional dedication to compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence. The award celebrates a team member whose work exemplifies Brown Health’s values and whose impact and elevates the experience of patients, families, and colleagues across the system. 

“Alyssa’s commitment to living our CARE values is evident in every interaction she has with patients, families, and colleagues,” said John Fernandez, CEO of Brown University Health. “We are honored to recognize her as the 2025 CARE Person of the Year.”

Alyssa’s dedication to patient-centered care, her collaborative spirit, and professionalism have made an exceptional impact since arriving at Saint Anne’s 11 years ago as a graduate student. She began in outpatient pediatrics before moving to acute care, where she continues to elevate patient experiences and support her care teams. Alyssa brings compassion and creativity to every interaction, helping individuals regain independence and confidence during some of their most challenging moments.
