Lifespan proudly announces the addition of Dr. Hana Ajouz, MD, to its esteemed Thoracic Surgery Center. Dr. Ajouz’s arrival marks another step in Lifespan’s strategic initiative to enhance the care of patients with thoracic diseases throughout Rhode Island and Southern New England.
Board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery and Board-eligible in thoracic surgery, Dr. Ajouz brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Lifespan. She completed her medical training at New York University – Long Island School of Medicine, where she discovered her enthusiasm for thoracic surgery. Subsequently, she pursued specialized training in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Miami. During her tenure at both institutions, Dr. Ajouz performed hundreds of robotic thoracic surgeries, demonstrating her commitment to advancing patient care through innovative surgical techniques.
