In recognition of The Miriam Hospital’s 100th anniversary, the Rhode Island State House will be illuminated in teal green through March 21st. This illumination serves as a visual tribute to the critical role The Miriam Hospital plays in safeguarding the health and well-being of our local communities.

Founded in 1926 by a group of visionary women, The Miriam Hospital became the first Jewish hospital in Rhode Island. As The Miriam Hospital celebrates their centennial year, they are also preparing for the future with a $125 million construction and renovation project that will transform the hospital’s campus, elevate the care provided and carry the mission of service forward for future generations.

This illumination is not only for the communities The Miriam Hospital serves, but also recognizes the team of 2800 professionals whose care, compassion and dedication mark this milestone 100th anniversary.
