Our Stories Campaign
On January 1, Brown University Health is launching its new advertising campaign called Our Stories. What makes this campaign so special is that it features real patients who have been cared for throughout the Brown University Health system, some with serious, life-threatening illnesses and injuries, and others with more routine care needs.
These patients come from Rhode Island and Massachusetts and represent diverse backgrounds, but they all have one thing in common: they are all extremely grateful to their Brown University Health caregivers for the extraordinary care they received. Click on the video link below to meet our campaign cast members.
Below is a sneak peek at just a few of the many media elements that make up our new Our Stories advertising campaign.
Television
The campaign officially kicks off on Tuesday, January 1 with two 30-second television spots airing in the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl on ESPN and in the NHL Winter Classic (Boston Bruins v. Chicago Blackhawks) on WJAR. Nearly 2,000 televisions spots will air throughout the year in other premier live television events such as the Golden Globes, the Academy Awards and the Super Bowl, and in highly rated prime time programming on the major networks, as well as in local news broadcasts and popular cable television shows.

With placements in thought-leader magazines such as Forbes, Fortune, Time and Smithsonian, and lifestyle publications like Martha Stewart, Real Simple and Rachael Ray Everyday, as well as family-focused monthlies like Parents, these important patient stories will reach all of Brown University Health’s wide and varied audiences.
Our campaign also includes outdoor advertising that will feature each of our Our Stories’ patients projected on billboards in Rhode Island and Attleboro, MA, and on nearly 50 buses with routes throughout Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts.
