Selection is based upon your needs and preferences. Search results will first present, in alphabetical order, physicians employed or contracted with Brown University Health or its affiliates, followed by an alphabetical listing of physicians who are in Brown University Health’s network of affiliated providers. At the end of that initial list, you can access an alphabetical listing of community physicians with privileges at Brown University Health hospitals. All physicians in Find a Doctor have the opportunity to have a picture or video posted on the site. Neither the order of physicians, nor the presence or absence of a photo or video, in Find a Doctor is intended to reflect any preference, priority, or recommendation by Brown University Health. Find a Doctor search results are also not based on the volume or value of referrals to Brown University Health or its affiliates from any listed physician. Users are free to select their physician of choice from among all Brown University Health-affiliated medical staff physicians.

Publications

Susan Duffy, MD is an attending physician in the emergency department at Hasbro Children's Hospital. She received her medical degree from Brown Medical School and completed her pediatric residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. She earned her master's in public health at Columbia University before returning to Providence, where she completed a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine.

Dr. Duffy is an associate professor of emergency medicine and pediatrics at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She is the director of fast track and nurse practitioner programs at Hasbro Children's Hospital. Her fields of interest include medical education, child maltreatment and domestic violence.
