Allison Dean, MSN, MBA, RN, OCN, NPD-BC, is an advanced practice manager at The Miriam Hospital and a certified Caritas Coach. She is dedicated to shaping the next generation of nurses by fostering professionalism, clinical competency, and confidence in practice while modeling the importance of self-care.
Dean has experience across inpatient hematology/oncology, medical-surgical telemetry, orthopedic care, and outpatient oncology navigation. She earned her MSN in nursing education from Framingham State University in Massachusetts and her BSN from Regis College, Weston, Massachusetts. A passionate advocate for simulation-based education, she is an active member of the International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL), and incorporates its standards into her work.
