Allyson Sherman-Roe serves as a clinical research program coordinator in the pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine research department at Rhode Island Hospital. While at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, and Massachusetts General Hospital, she gained extensive experience in laboratory and translational research in neuroscience, specifically neurodegenerative disorders. In addition, she obtained specialized knowledge in clinical research of infectious disease at Brown University Health. She holds a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of New Hampshire.
