Christy Ciesla, PT, DPT, MBA, CPHQ, is the director of Brown Health Medical Group’s Division of Gastroenterology, where she leads clinical and operational strategy across multiple sites. She focuses on access, quality, and care coordination to improve patient outcomes and provider experience. Clinically, her work has focused on pelvic rehabilitation, and she continues to teach and mentor in this area.
She brings experience in healthcare operations, program development, and performance improvement, with a focus on building teams and scaling services in complex systems.
Dr. Ciesla earned her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from Syracuse University, her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Utica College, and her MBA from Salve Regina University. She also holds certification in healthcare quality (CPHQ).
