As executive vice president of ambulatory care and clinical services, Cindy Peterson, MBA is responsible for the overall leadership of Brown University Health's clinical ambulatory services, including practices, clinics and urgent care centers. She is also the chief operations officer for Brown Health Medical Group.
Peterson has decades of experience in ambulatory operations and growth. Prior to joining Brown University Health, she was vice president of regional ambulatory operations and business development at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. In that position, Peterson was responsible for expanding Brigham’s ambulatory offerings and driving ambulatory growth, resource management and operational excellence across competitive markets.
Peterson holds a BA from Amherst College, an MBA in healthcare management from Boston University, and has completed the Brigham Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.
