Emerald O'Rourke, PharmD, is a clinical pharmacy specialist in infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship at Brown University Health. Dr. O’Rourke provides antimicrobial stewardship services at Newport Hospital and The Miriam Hospital through daily review of blood culture, respiratory pathogen panel, and urinalysis results. Additionally, she participates in multidisciplinary rounds with the infectious diseases consultation service at The Miriam Hospital. Dr. O’Rourke is a co-chair of the Brown University Health Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacy and Therapeutics Subcommittee.
