Mercedes Medeiros, BSW is a social worker with the adult Muscular Dystrophy Association Clinical Care Center at Rhode Island Hospital. At Rhode Island Hospital, Medeiros has been honored as Social Worker of the Quarter in recognition of her care for patients. She earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from Rhode Island College.
Prior to her current role, Medeiros was a behavioral health specialist at Bradley Hospital. In her time at Bradley Hospital, she was a member of the President’s Advisory Council, where she advocated for both patients and staff.
