Robin Carey, PharmD, BCACP, CDOE, CVDOE, oversees multiple anticoagulation programs, including the Brown Health – Cardiovascular Institute (CVI) Coumadin Clinic, and Brown Health Medical Group Primary Care Anticoagulation. Carey coordinates transitions of care for anticoagulation management, updates embedded scanner control language interfaces with EPIC and the CVI, and maintains protocols and policies for the anticoagulation pharmacy group. She is also responsible for onboarding and training new staff, serves on the Antithrombotic P&T Committee, and participates in the Anticoagulation Forum and Vasculearn Committee. In addition, Carey precepts pharmacy learners at various levels.
