Sonia Depina is an advanced practice manager (APM) with the Center for Professional Practice and Innovation at Rhode Island Hospital. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Walden University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rhode Island College.
Depina is board-certified in both progressive care nursing (PCCN) and nursing professional development (NPD-BC). She also serves as a designated American Heart Association (AHA) faculty member through the Brown University Health Community Training Center.
An engaged leader, Depina actively contributes to numerous committees and initiatives at Rhode Island Hospital and across the Brown University Health system. Her professional passion lies in advancing nursing excellence through education, mentoring, and the development of future nurses.
