Susan E. Stevenson, MEd., is director of CCBHC services at Gateway Healthcare, Inc./Brown University Health. In addition, she directs the affiliate programs of Gateway: FRIENDS WAY, Capital City Community Center, and The Autism Project. Since coming to Gateway in 2006, Stevenson has been responsible for developing and overseeing children’s services and leading the transition to a federally designated service delivery model, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic designed to ensure access to coordinated, comprehensive mental health and substance use care.
Stevenson did her undergraduate work at the University of Iowa, completing her graduate degree at Kent State University where she majored in children and youth with behavioral and learning differences. Post graduate study focused on administrative practices and applied behavioral analysis. She has co-authored numerous publications and professional grants.
