Ana P. Lourenco, MD, is a board-certified radiologist with the Anne C. Pappas Center for Breast Imaging. She is also a professor of radiology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Lourenco has presented at conferences, collaborated on peer reviewed research published in academic journals, and written chapters for medical texts.

She earned a medical degree from the UMass Chan Medical School. Dr. Lourenco completed an internal medicine internship at Roger Williams Medical Center, a diagnostic radiology residency at Rhode Island Hospital/The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where she served as chief resident, and a women’s imaging radiology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.

She is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the American College of Radiology, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, the American Association of Women Radiologists, the Society of Breast Imaging, the Association of University Radiologists, and the Association of Program Directors in Radiology.  She is a fellow of the Society of Breast Imaging and a fellow of the American College of Radiology.
