Andrew Rogers, MD, is the chief of orthopedics at Morton Hospital and a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic sports surgeon specializing in hip arthroscopy with a focus on the preservation of the native hip joint, as well as advanced procedures of the knee and shoulder.

He specializes in hip arthroscopy surgery and advanced procedures of the knee and shoulder. In addition, he is a board-certified sports surgeon with University Orthopedics, the team physician for numerous sports teams, including Boston College Athletics and Taunton High School Athletics.

Dr. Andrews has presented at conferences and collaborated on peer-reviewed research published in academic journals. 

He earned a medical degree from the Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine at Boston University. Dr. Rogers completed a general surgery internship at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, an orthopedics residency at McGill Orthopaedic Surgery in Canada, and a sports medicine fellowship with Lahey Hospital and Boston University.

Dr. Rogers is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Massachusetts Medical Society, and the New England Shoulder and Elbow Society.
