“Find a Doctor” is operated by Brown University Health and includes all physicians who are on the medical staffs of Brown University Health-affiliated hospitals, without any charge to them. Selection is based upon your needs and preferences. Search results will first present, in alphabetical order, physicians employed or contracted with Brown University Health or its affiliates, followed by an alphabetical listing of physicians who are in Brown University Health’s network of affiliated providers. At the end of that initial list, you can access an alphabetical listing of community physicians with privileges at Brown University Health hospitals. All physicians in Find a Doctor have the opportunity to have a picture or video posted on the site. Neither the order of physicians, nor the presence or absence of a photo or video, in Find a Doctor is intended to reflect any preference, priority, or recommendation by Brown University Health. Find a Doctor search results are also not based on the volume or value of referrals to Brown University Health or its affiliates from any listed physician. Users are free to select their physician of choice from among all Brown University Health-affiliated medical staff physicians.
Ashley L. Wright, NP
Nurse Practitioner
Ashley Wright is currently the manager of advanced practice providers in the Neuro-Intensive Care Unit at Rhode Island Hospital.
She has a strong background in neurocritical care, having previously served as a clinical nurse practitioner in the neurocritical care unit at Brown University Health. Prior to this, Wright worked as a registered nurse in both the neuro-intensive care and critical care units. Additionally, she has experience as a registered nurse at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and Backus Hospital in Norwich, Connecticut.
Wright earned a master’s degree in nursing with a focus on family nurse practitioner from Simmons College in Boston and a master’s degree in business administration from Fitchburg State University in Massachusetts.
She is an active member of the Huntington’s Disease Society of America Board and the Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Rhode Island.
