Christopher DiMarco, MD, is a dermatologist and dermatopathologist, as well as the information technology director for Brown Health Medical Group Dermatology. In his role as information technology director, Dr. DiMarco focuses on issues involving teledermatology, electronic slides for pathology, government programs, informatics, and electronic health records. His current interests include dermatopathology, especially using informatics to improve the quality of practice, state and national level advocacy, and incorporating technology into practice and education.
Dr. DiMarco completed a combined bachelor’s and medical degrees program at Drexel University and Drexel University College of Medicine. He also completed an internship at Rhode Island Hospital, a dermatology residency at Roger Williams Medical Center, and a dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Florida.
He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatopathology, the American Medical Association, and the Rhode Island Dermatology Society.
