Christopher J. Malgieri, MD, is an anesthesiologist who specializes in pediatric anesthesiology.

He earned a medical degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. He completed his residency as chief resident at Emory University in Atlanta and a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Malgieri’s academic and research interests are in medical education. He has presented his work at the regional and national levels. In addition to writing exam content for the American Board of Anesthesiologists, he is a member of several committees in the American Society of Anesthesiologists and is the chair of its committee on young physicians. He is a past president of the Rhode Island Society of Anesthesiologists and currently serves on the board of directors for the Rhode Island Medical Society.

Dr. Malgieri is the program director of the anesthesiology residency program at The Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University.
