Selection is based upon your needs and preferences. Search results will first present, in alphabetical order, physicians employed or contracted with Brown University Health or its affiliates, followed by an alphabetical listing of physicians who are in Brown University Health’s network of affiliated providers. At the end of that initial list, you can access an alphabetical listing of community physicians with privileges at Brown University Health hospitals. All physicians in Find a Doctor have the opportunity to have a picture or video posted on the site. Neither the order of physicians, nor the presence or absence of a photo or video, in Find a Doctor is intended to reflect any preference, priority, or recommendation by Brown University Health. Find a Doctor search results are also not based on the volume or value of referrals to Brown University Health or its affiliates from any listed physician. Users are free to select their physician of choice from among all Brown University Health-affiliated medical staff physicians.
Drew Nagle, MD, FACP is an assistant professor of internal medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He is a member of the Rhode Island Hospital Cardiac Arrest Committee and is the physician chair of the RIH Code Review Committee. Dr. Nagle also leads the Brown Internal Medicine Residency code training program and the Brown University Health mock code program. Dr. Nagle teaches on the inpatient medicine wards at Rhode Island Hospital, is a primary care physician for the Brown Medicine Academic Practice, and is the team internist for the Providence Bruins.
He earned a medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed his internal medicine training and chief year fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital. He received a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and psychology from the University of Florida.
