Selection is based upon your needs and preferences. Search results will first present, in alphabetical order, physicians employed or contracted with Brown University Health or its affiliates, followed by an alphabetical listing of physicians who are in Brown University Health’s network of affiliated providers. At the end of that initial list, you can access an alphabetical listing of community physicians with privileges at Brown University Health hospitals. All physicians in Find a Doctor have the opportunity to have a picture or video posted on the site. Neither the order of physicians, nor the presence or absence of a photo or video, in Find a Doctor is intended to reflect any preference, priority, or recommendation by Brown University Health. Find a Doctor search results are also not based on the volume or value of referrals to Brown University Health or its affiliates from any listed physician. Elizabeth McNulty, MSPAS, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Elizabeth McNulty, MSPAS, PA-C, is a physician assistant with the Neurovascular Center at Rhode Island Hospital. She is an integral member of the inpatient advanced practice provider (APP) team specializing in neurointerventional radiology and vascular neurology. In this role, she provides comprehensive care to patients with complex neurovascular conditions, including performing inpatient consults, rounding on admitted patients, assisting in neurointerventional procedures, and responding to acute stroke activations.
She earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Johnson & Wales University and dual bachelor’s degrees in biology and psychology from Providence College, along with a certificate in neuroscience. During her undergraduate studies, McNulty engaged in neuroscience research focused on Alzheimer’s disease pathology and affective neuroscience, contributing to projects that explored neurodegenerative processes and emotional regulation.
In addition to her clinical work, McNulty is involved in medical education. She serves as a neurology guest lecturer at the Johnson & Wales University Physician Assistant Program. She also precepts physician assistant and medical students in her current role.
McNulty is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
