Nurse Practitioner

Erin Rose, MSN, FNP C, is a family nurse practitioner with the Brown University Health Cardiovascular Institute. She cares for patients with advanced lung conditions, including COPD, asthma, pulmonary hypertension, pulmonary fibrosis, and sleep apnea. She also supports patients using hypoglossal nerve stimulation therapy and leads a pulmonary fibrosis support group in Rhode Island.

Rose brings nearly two decades of nursing experience across intensive care and operating room settings. She spent close to ten years as a clinical nurse coordinator in the Department of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension and Heart Transplant at Ascension Seton Medical Center in Austin, Texas. Most recently, Rose has focused her practice on caring for patients with complex pulmonary conditions.

During her master’s program at Salve Regina University, she provided care for children and adults during sick visits, routine checkups, and pre surgery or sports clearance appointments. She managed a wide range of health concerns, from common infections to chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, asthma, and COPD. Her clinical rotations included family medicine, urgent care, pediatric allergy and asthma, and pulmonology.

Rose earned a master of science degree in nursing from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island, and a bachelor of science in nursing from Seattle University.
