Fransisca Indraswari, MD, is a neurohospitalist with Brown Health Medical Group, and co-director of the Advanced Primary Stroke Center at The Miriam Hospital.

Dr. Indraswari specializes in hospital neurology and stroke care. She earned a medical degree from Duke-National University of Singapore Medical School, Singapore.

She completed an internship in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, New York, a residency in neurology at George Washington University Hospital, Washington, DC, and a fellowship in vascular neurology at Rhode Island Hospital.

Dr. Indraswari has written and presented research on stroke treatments, imaging, and prevention, and has taken part in several national clinical trials. She also serves as a reviewer for neurology journals and has been invited to speak at professional conferences.

She is an assistant professor of neurology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
