Lawren Wellisch, MD, ScM, is a pediatrician on the critical care pediatric intensive care unit at Hasbro Children’s.
Dr. Wellisch’s areas of interest are centered on the unique sexual and reproductive health needs of adolescents with complex illness, evidence synthesis research, and improving experiences of research and scholarship for medical trainees. She has presented at numerous conferences and collaborated on medical research published in academic journals.
Dr. Wellisch holds a medical degree from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and a Master of Science from the Brown University School of Public Health. Her residency in pediatrics was at Comer Children’s Hospital, University of Chicago Medical Center. She pursued a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine with Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine at the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
