Lee Whitmore Eschenroeder, MD

Lee W. Eschenroeder, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist with the Brown University Health Cardiovascular Institute. Before joining the Cardiovascular Institute, Dr. Eschenroeder worked as a hospitalist at the Valley Medical Center in Renton, Washington.

He earned a medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Charlottesville, Virginia, and completed a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine and internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle. Before earning his medical degree he taught at STRIVE Preparatory Charter Schools in Denver as part of Teach for America. Dr. Eschenroeder has also earned certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support from the American Heart Association.

Dr. Eschenroeder has presented at conferences and collaborated on peer reviewed research published in academic journals, and is proficient in Spanish.
