Leslie Robinson-Bostom, MD

Leslie Robinson-Bostom, MD, is the director of the Division of Dermatopathology at Brown Health Medical Group Dermatology. She is board-certified in dermatology and dermatopathology. In addition, she is a professor of pathology and laboratory medicine and a professor of dermatology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Her research interests are elastic tissue disorders, ichthyosis, panniculitis, cutaneous manifestations of kidney disease, dermatologic conditions seen in immunosuppressed/solid organ transplant recipients and clinical pathologic correlation.

At Brown University, Dr. Robinson-Bostom founded the Division of Dermatopathology and organized the dermatopathology slide library, as well as teaching future medical providers. She has served as the director of the division for more than 20 years and the co-director of the Cutaneous Oncology Tumor Board and Multidisciplinary Clinic. She also directs the dermatology rotation for medical students at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Robinson-Bostom is recognized locally and nationally and has held numerous leadership positions in dermatology, including Rhode Island State Chair and trustee of the Dermatology Foundation and President of the New England Dermatological Society.

She earned a medical degree from SUNY Health Science Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Robinson-Bostom completed an internship at Rhode Island Hospital and a dermatopathology fellowship at Roger Williams Medical Center. She began a dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate and completed it at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Robinson-Bostom is a member of the American Board of Pathology and the American Board of Dermatology.
