Mark Sylvanus Cort, MD

Vascular Neurologist

Mark Cort, MD, is a vascular neurologist with Brown University Health’s Comprehensive Stroke Center.

He earned a medical degree from New York University. Dr. Cort completed a neurology residency at the University of Pennsylvania and a neurovascular fellowship at the University of Texas, Houston.

His prior research has focused on quality improvement in health systems and health equity in stroke treatment. He is clinically interested in the interaction of social determinants of health and stroke care in the outpatient setting.
