Michael P. Koster, MD

Division Director, Pediatric Infectious Diseases

Michael Koster, MD is director of the division of pediatric infectious diseases at Hasbro Children’s, and an associate professor of pediatrics (clinician educator) at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

He earned his medical degree at New York Medical College in Valhalla, in conjunction with the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital in Westchester. Dr. Koster completed his residency and also served as chief resident at Schneider Children's Hospital, New Hyde Park, New York. He completed his pediatric infectious diseases fellowship at Hasbro Children's Hospital.

Dr. Koster’s research interests include viral respiratory illnesses, osteoarticular infections, and pneumonia in children.
