Mohamed Elmarasi, MD

Consultant Liaison Psychiatrist

Mohamed Elmarasi, MD,  is a consultant liaison psychiatrist with Rhode Island and The Miriam hospitals. He has collaborated on research published in peer-reviewed, academic journals and presented numerous abstracts.

He completed a CL psychiatry fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and his psychiatry residency at Nassau University Medical Center. His medical degree is from Mansoura Faculty of Medicine in Egypt.

Dr. Elmarasi's research experience includes work at Yale University Psychiatry Department on PTSD and qualitative data analysis.

He is a member of the Academy of Consultation and Liaison Psychiatry (ACLP).
