Nicholas Lemme, MD

Nicholas Lemme, MD, is fellowship-trained in both orthopedic sports medicine and orthopedic trauma. His practice emphasizes both surgical and non-surgical treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, with a particular focus on the shoulder, knee, and elbow.

Dr. Lemme earned a medical degree and completed an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at Rush University Medical Center, Chicago. While there, Dr. Lemme served as assistant team physician for the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bulls.

He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery, and a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Lemme has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, podium and poster presentations, and book chapters. His work spans sports medicine outcomes, joint preservation, biomechanics, and surgical technique innovation.

He currently serves on the research committee for the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and is a peer reviewer for both The American Journal of Sports Medicine and Sports Health.
