“Find a Doctor” is operated by Brown University Health and includes all physicians who are on the medical staffs of Brown University Health-affiliated hospitals, without any charge to them. Selection is based upon your needs and preferences. Search results will first present, in alphabetical order, physicians employed or contracted with Brown University Health or its affiliates, followed by an alphabetical listing of physicians who are in Brown University Health’s network of affiliated providers. At the end of that initial list, you can access an alphabetical listing of community physicians with privileges at Brown University Health hospitals. All physicians in Find a Doctor have the opportunity to have a picture or video posted on the site. Neither the order of physicians, nor the presence or absence of a photo or video, in Find a Doctor is intended to reflect any preference, priority, or recommendation by Brown University Health. Find a Doctor search results are also not based on the volume or value of referrals to Brown University Health or its affiliates from any listed physician. Users are free to select their physician of choice from among all Brown University Health-affiliated medical staff physicians.
Nkenna K. Odom, MD
Attending Physician
Nkenna Odom, MD, is an attending physician in Women’s Primary Care at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative. Dr. Odom graduated with a bachelor of science degree in biology from Sam Houston State University in Texas. She received a medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Keith B. Taylor Global Scholars Program in Grenada, West Indies and Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom. Dr. Odom completed her residency in family medicine at University of Maryland, Prince George’s Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in Cheverly, MD, where she also served as chief resident.
Dr. Odom is board certified in family medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Physicians.
Her areas of interest include women’s health, management of chronic medical conditions, integrative medicine and mindfulness. Dr. Odom is fluent in Igbo.
