Paul S. Rava, MD, PhD

Radiation Oncologist

Paul S. Rava, MD, PhD, is a radiation oncologist with the Brown University Health Cancer Institute’s radiation oncology department.

He earned a duo medical and doctoral degree at the State University of New York, Downstate. He completed an internship at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, New York, and a residency in radiation oncology at Tufts Medical Center, Boston, where he was chief resident.

Dr. Rava held previous appointments at UMass Medical Center, where he was vice chair of its department of radiation oncology, and at Tufts Medical Center.

He has presented at numerous conferences and collaborated on medical research published in academic journals. Dr. Rava is a reviewer with several professional journals including Current Oncology, Journal of Neuro-Oncology, and Practical Radiation Oncology.

Dr. Rava is an active member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology.
