Robert C. Ward, MD, is a radiologist at Rhode Island Hospital. Dr. Ward earned his medical degree at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He performed his diagnostic radiology residency and fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital and The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where he was also chief resident. Dr. Ward is an associate professor of radiology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and also serves as the program director for the Breast Imaging Fellowship. He is also associate chief of radiology at Women and Infants Hospital. He is past president of the Rhode Island Radiological Society.

Dr. Ward specializes in women’s imaging and is internationally recognized in breast cancer cryoablation.
