Roger Douglas Auth, MD

Pulmonologist

Roger Auth, MD, is a pulmonologist with the Center for Advanced Lung Care. He is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care.

A member of the lung nodule team, Dr. Auth specializes in advanced bronchoscopy techniques including endobronchial ultrasound and robotic bronchoscopy. These procedures enable advanced, comprehensive diagnostics for a variety of lung diseases including lung cancer, pulmonary infections, and inflammatory conditions such as sarcoidosis and vasculitis.

Dr. Auth serves as associate director of the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Clinic and is an associate professor at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He also directs the Citywide Chest Conference, the most extensive recurring pulmonary education series in Southern New England.

He was the recipient of a Program for Adult Care Excellence (PACE) grant award from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and has received honors for his teaching contributions at the medical school. 

Dr. Auth obtained a medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed a combined residency in internal medicine and pediatrics, followed by a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine, both at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. 

A frequent author/co-author of peer-reviewed articles, Dr. Auth has been invited to speak at various regional and national conferences.
