Sangeeta Ramani, MD, FACOG

Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon

Sangeeta Ramani, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified gynecologist specializing in gynecologic surgery with the Center for Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. In addition, she is an assistant professor of surgery and clinician educator at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

She has presented at conferences and collaborated on peer-reviewed research published in academic journals.

Before she joined the Brown Health Medical Group, Dr. Ramani worked as a gynecologist at Women’s Healthcare of Princeton in New Jersey.

She received a medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla. Dr. Ramani completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at New York University Langone Hospital – Long Island, where she served as chief resident, and a minimally invasive gynecologic surgery fellowship at Stamford Hospital in Connecticut.

She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.

Dr. Ramani’s philosophy is to provide comprehensive and compassionate care, while empowering her patients to prioritize their health and wellbeing. Her special interests include management of uterine fibroids and endometriosis. She welcomes referrals for patients with these conditions or who may require a surgeon with advanced skills in gynecologic laparoscopy, robot-assisted laparoscopy or hysteroscopy.
