Sara C. Spielman, MD, FACOG is a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon with the Center for Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and an assistant professor of surgery, clinician educator, at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Spielman earned a medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center and a minimally invasive gynecologic surgery fellowship at the Indiana University School of Medicine. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.

Dr. Spielman’s interests include treating patients who have endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, uterine fibroids, and other complex surgical needs. She welcomes referrals for patients with these conditions or who may require a surgeon with advanced skills in gynecologic laparoscopy, robot-assisted laparoscopy or hysteroscopy.
