Orthopedic Surgeon

Scott Mandel, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon at Morton Hospital with a special interest in orthopedic trauma and sports medicine.

Before joining Morton Hospital, Dr. Mandel worked as an orthopedic surgeon at Hamilton Hospital, Joseph Brandt Hospital in Ontario, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He also serves as an orthopedic surgeon with Saperia Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Care Physician Network – both in Massachusetts. 

He earned a medical degree from the University of Toronto. Dr. Mandel completed an orthopedics residency at the University of Alberta, a sports medicine fellowship at Dalhousie University, and a trauma and upper extremity fellowship at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
