Selection is based upon your needs and preferences. Search results will first present, in alphabetical order, physicians employed or contracted with Brown University Health or its affiliates, followed by an alphabetical listing of physicians who are in Brown University Health’s network of affiliated providers. At the end of that initial list, you can access an alphabetical listing of community physicians with privileges at Brown University Health hospitals. All physicians in Find a Doctor have the opportunity to have a picture or video posted on the site. Neither the order of physicians, nor the presence or absence of a photo or video, in Find a Doctor is intended to reflect any preference, priority, or recommendation by Brown University Health. Find a Doctor search results are also not based on the volume or value of referrals to Brown University Health or its affiliates from any listed physician. Users are free to select their physician of choice from among all Brown University Health-affiliated medical staff physicians.

http://www.childrenseye.comTineke Chan, MD is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in medical and surgical treatment of pediatric eye disorders ranging from amblyopia, strabismus, cataracts, blocked tear ducts, and retinopathy of prematurity. She also provides care for adults with eye motility or misalignment (strabismus) disorders. Dr. Chan completed her medical training at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, then completed her residency in ophthalmology at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and spent another year in fellowship further specializing in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and is a fellow of both the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
