Vicky Cheng, MD, ECNU, is a clinical endocrinologist with Brown Health Medical Group Endocrinology and Diabetes. She is also an associate professor of medicine, a clinician educator, the director of the thyroid biopsy program, and the director of continuing medical education in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Dr. Cheng has presented at conferences, collaborated on peer reviewed research published in academic journals, and written numerous chapters for medical books. She is a member of the editorial board of AACE Endocrinology and Diabetes.

She received her medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. After completing her postgraduate internship training at Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan, Philippines, Dr. Cheng served as a volunteer physician in several medical and surgical missions. She completed an internal medicine internship at Western Reserve Care System/Northeastern Ohio Universities Colleges of Medicine and Pharmacy, an internal medicine residency at Bridgeport Hospital – Yale New Haven Health in Connecticut, and an endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Cheng is a member of the Philippine Medical Association, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist, and the Endocrine Society.
