Foundations for Infant/Toddler Social Emotional Health and Development

Provider Modules

The earliest interactions that babies have with parents and caregivers determine the health of a baby’s mind, body, behavior, and relationships for the rest of life.

This course augments work completed by the National Infant and Toddler Child Care Initiative at Zero to Three, a project of the federal Child Care Bureau. Bradley’s Foundations offers high quality professional development for front-line providers across various community sectors serving infants, toddlers and their families.

The course includes 16 computer-based learning (CBL) modules in three sections:

  • Infant/Toddler Development
  • Relationships as the Context for Development
  • Supporting Infant/Toddler Development: Approaches to Individualization

The modules are embedded in a learning management system that serves to track and monitor user participation and provide post-assessments of learning. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to print a transcript of completed courses. The course can be aligned with various established professional development opportunities throughout the infant/toddler system of care.
