From annual wellness exams to complex medical treatment, we offer a complete spectrum of obstetric and gynecological care to meet women’s unique health needs. We take a holistic approach to women’s health, focused on the medical, emotional, psychological and social components of wellness.
We collaborate with our Brown University Health partners, such as Rhode Island and The Miriam hospitals, to facilitate access to academic medical expertise and coordinate your specialty care.

Newport Women’s Health provides care through all stages of pregnancy. Our team focuses on fostering relationships with our patients to understand each of their needs and goals. Our team of obstetricians and certified nurse midwives supports natural, non-interventive childbirth and a variety of pain management options. We are the only practice to deliver babies at Newport Hospital’s renowned Noreen Stonor Drexel Birthing Center, which offers a uniquely peaceful and comfortable setting and an award-winning, highly experienced nursing staff. Along with its recently renovated private suites and family-centered care, the birthing center offers a broad array of education programs for expectant families and new parents, free breastfeeding support groups and lactation consultant services, and a 24-hour Warm Line, staffed by professionals who can answer any questions that may arise about newborn or new mother care.
As you prepare for and experience menopause, our team is here to answer questions, manage symptoms, and develop treatment plans. It’s important to continue with annual gynecologic exams even after you have gone through menopause, to stay up-to-date on the full spectrum of women’s health screenings.

We are also excited to announce the addition of GE Healthcare’s Voluson Expert 22—the most advanced imaging system in women’s health—to our practice. This state-of-the-art technology allows our physicians to deliver the highest-quality care. Our ultrasound technologists and reading physician are available four days per week, ensuring timely access and comprehensive care.
