Information for Visitors at the Noreen Stonor Drexel Birthing Center

At the Noreen Stonor Drexel Birthing Center, we understand that the birth of a child is an exciting time not only for you, but for your family and friends. We welcome birthing partners to be onsite for the duration of the stay. Two additional visitors are allowed during visiting hours, 11a.m. to 7:30 p.m., after the initial recovery period. Siblings, regardless of age, are allowed to visit during regular visiting hours as well and are not counted as visitors.

We ask visitors to please use common sense and following these simple guidelines:

• If you have a cold, sore throat, fever or any contagious disease, we ask you to please stay home and visit mother and baby when you are recovered.
• We request that all visitors please wash their hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer when entering the room for a visit.
• If you bring a child to visit who is not a sibling, please be sure the child is accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.
