Our care is comprehensive through all phases, from injury, beginning with stabilization and acute care, through reconstruction and rehabilitation, to final recovery. We also provide care for patients requiring complicated wound care and patients with major skin disorders.
Expert Burn Care for Adults and Children in Rhode Island
The Burn Center is an American Burn Association verified burn center for both adult and pediatric burn survivors and has been verified since 2009. This distinction ensures that RIBC is adhering to the highest current standards of care set forth by the American Burn Association.
RIBC admits over 150 burn patients per year and has in excess of 1,000 outpatient clinic visits per year to provide continued care for our burn survivors. State-of-the-art burn care is provided to the patients treated at the Burn Center throughout the continuum of care, from initial injury through comprehensive rehabilitation and future reconstructive needs.
