Education at the Trauma Center

The Trauma Center at Rhode Island Hospital offers a nationally recognized advanced trauma life support course that is available to all incoming surgical and emergency medicine residents, emergency room and ICU physicians, and community surgeons. We also offer an EMS lecture series, nursing continuing education, injury prevention and community outreach programs to healthcare providers who treat trauma patients.

We hold an annual trauma care conference every fall for nurses, physicians and other providers interested in the care of trauma patients.
